Clifford Warren, 89, formerly of Moline died Friday at St. Anthony’s Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Services will be 9:30a.m. Monday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline and 10a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island with military honors by American Legion Post 246, Moline. Visitation is Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Make a Wish Foundation.
Clifford was born December 30, 1915 in Stonefort, IL the son of William and Mae Duvaul Warren. He married Lura M. Fuller October 10, 1936 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on July 6, 1997.
He was a WWII Navy veteran.
He retired in 1976 after 35 years as owner and operator of the former Warren’s Barber Shop, Moline. He was an instructor at the former Lincoln Barber College, East Moline.
Clifford was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline and American Legion Post 246, Moline.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Gary Miller, East Moline sons and daughters-in-law, William and Nancy Warren of Moline and Joseph and Rosalinda Warren of Vancouver, Wash.; 4 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Marilyn Jean in 1942.
