Kevin Bryant

Kevin Scott Bryant, 51, of Davenport, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, IA.

Visitation is from 4 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, followed by a Funeral Service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kevin was born on March 24, 1968 in Pekin, IL, the son of Russell and Candace (Ernspiker) Bryant, Jr. He married Kim Vaughan on September 14, 2002.

Kevin had a passion for anything with a motor. His love for cars and drag racing began at an early age with his father and his uncles. He continued to share this lifestyle with his family and his friends. Kevin always enjoyed putting a smile on your face by cooking for others, lending a helping hand, cracking jokes or sharing his crazy antics and stories. Family was very special to Kevin and he took pride in being a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and son. He never knew a stranger.

Survivors include his wife, Kim; children, Cody Bryant, Alex Bryant, Molly Bryant, Kelly Friedrich, Tracy Friedrich and Erin Friedrich; mother, Candace CheryLae Bryant; grandchildren, Palmer, Riley, Josh, Parker, Caiden, Forrest, Ender and Holden; brothers, David (Elizabeth) Bryant, Travis (Heather) Bryant and Jason Bryant, He was preceded in death by father, Russell. Kevin, you left us too soon. We love you dearly and will miss you always.
