Luevenia Byas Obituary

Luevenia Ann Byas, 60, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.

Luevenia was born January 9, 1959 in Greenville, MS, the daughter of Sam Gardner & Carrie Byas.

She was employed at the VSI Vonachen Group for the last 5 years. Luevenia enjoyed helping others either by spoken word or by some physical activity they were struggling with, mainly cleaning!

She is survived by her daughter and sons, Natasha Mosley, Russell (Jaime) Bolar, Jr., Anthony Mitchell, Eddie Byas and Terry Byas; brothers and sisters, Mary Byas, Alice “Faye” Byas, John Byas and Fred Byas and numerous other family members.
