Austin Cook

Austin Cook, 19, of Davenport, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 in Davenport, IA.  

A brief memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7th, 2021 at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport, IA.

Austin was born June 4, 2002 in Davenport, the son of Jennifer Jasper and Jamey Cook.  He attended North Scott and Davenport West High Schools, receiving his high school diploma in 2020. In the short time after graduation Austin worked in construction and landscaping but was a true entrepreneur at heart. He enjoyed working on anything with wheels, including customizing his favorite ride. In his free time he could often be found playing X-Box or watching Family Guy. He also had a love for animals and left behind a cat and dog. Austin was at his happiest hanging out with his girlfriend, many close friends and family.

Austin leaves behind those he loved: his mother, Jenny and father Jamey; his step father Garry and a sister Breea; his grandmothers, Denise and Geri; great-grandparents Carol and Hank, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Craig and Jim.
