Beverly Hansen Obituary
Beverly L. Hansen, 79, of Moline, died Tuesday August 30, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Rock Island.
Funeral Services will be 10:45 a.m. Friday, at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline and 11:30 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island with the Rev. Robert Lee officiating. Visitation is Thursday 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home, with a Christian Wake Service recited at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Association for Retarded Citizens of Rock Island County or Oncology Department at Trinity Medical Center.
The former Beverly Buckholtz was born April 21, 1926, in Moline, the daughter of Louis and Mary Crispyn Buckholtz. She married Earl J. Hansen on June 12, 1947 in Oalthe, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1962.
She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary VFW Moline Post 2153, former parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rock Island and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline and former member of Friends Circle Club, Moline.
Survivors and (Spouses) include daughters Dawn (Raymond) Ciocari of Lafayette Hill, PA, Mary Lou (Robert) Zelsdorf of Davenport, Peggy Love of Rock Island and Beverly Hansen of East Moline, Sons Steven (Marcy) Hansen of Rock Island and Michael Hansen of Moline. 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Charlene Van Lerberghe and a son-in-law Von Love.
