Carol Schuler Obituary

Carol A. Schuler, 70, of Rock Island, IL, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at her residence. Private funeral services will be held DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Carol was born on August 4, 1950, in DeWitt, IA, the daughter of Gerald and Evelyn (Brock) Cousins. She graduated from DeWitt High School and married James F. Schuler on August 16, 1969 in Davenport.

Carol worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for five years before focusing on staying home with her family.

She was a very talented crocheter and knitter. She enjoyed her crossword puzzles and her family.

She will be missed by her loving family including her husband of 51 years, Jim, sister Peggy Porter, daughters Kelly Schuler and Lori Hoover, grandchildren Sondra Schuler, Philip Schuler, Kelsie Penley, Alaura Tallman and Chloe Schuler. Also 6 great-grandchildern.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Cousins.
