Dennis Johnson Obituary

Dennis Ricky Johnson, 62, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Private services will be held in accordance with his wishes. DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dennis was born September 24, 1958, in Davenport, IA, the son of Lyle and Kay (Baker) Johnson. He married Lisa Kay Frees in 1981 in Rock Island.

He was employed at Alcoa/Arconic for over 24 years as a Union Trucker.

Dennis enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and “pickling”.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, daughter, Sara Johnson, son, Ben Johnson, grandchildren, Elana, Uriah, Raya and Thea, sisters, Kim and Sandra and brother, Lyle.
