Elena Casillas

Elena M Casillas, 78, of Moline, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. Visitation is 9:00 - 11:00 am., Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Mark DeSutter, Sacred Heart Church, is officiating. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. 

Elena was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline. She loved being a devoted grandmother, mother & sister and collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She married Joe "Patrick" Casillas on December 30, 1961. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2015. 

She is survived by her daughters, Cindi, Sharon, sons, Steve, Joseph and the late Rodney; grandchildren, Christine, Alan, Kory, Kaylie, Drew, Elizabeth, and great-granddaughter, Hailee.
