Jeffrey Spranger

Jeffrey Spanger, 65, of Davenport, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline.  He and his wife will be put to rest together at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the family for a fund to be established.

Jeffrey was born July 16th, 1955 in Moline, IL son of Donald and Rosalie Spranger. He is preceded in death by his wife Lamonta Spranger in September of 2018. He and Lamonta were happily married for over 43 years. 

Jeffrey was one of the original Harris Pizza boys. He worked for Harris Pizza for 19 years. From there, he learned about pest control and worked for various local companies. Jeffrey retired from working in 2008. Jeffrey loved spending time with his wife, Lamonta, as she was his one true love. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow. They were the pride and joy in his life. When not with his 3 daughters or grandchildren, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with his siblings going to lunch with his siblings and fishing as time allowed. 

Survivors include daughters, Angelene Vazquez (Edwin), Christy Jones (Martell), and Lindsey Abrahamsen (Robert); grandchildren, Andrew Early, Rheanna Jones, Brendon Jones, Malik Jones, Luke Abrahamsen, Sophia Abrahamsen, Haylee Abrahamsen and great-granddaughter, Audrianna Jones, great grandson Azazel Jones; 3 sisters and 2 brothers along with many nieces and nephews.
