Morris Barnett

Morris Richard Barnett, 67, of Silvis, passed away Friday, August 6th, 2021 at his residence.  Visitation is Thursday, August 12th from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Vietnam Veterans Ch. 299. 

Morris was born January 8, 1954 in Rock Island, the son of Morris O'Neil and Margaret May (Berry) Barnett. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 - 1979. 

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen (Latisha) Barnett, David (Shelby) Barnett, Brian (Serena) Barnett; grandchildren, Clarissa, Ariella, Brian Jr., Anthony,  Brian and Hailey;  brothers and sisters,  Mark Barnett, Judy Milligan, Tina Wilson, Vera Scutts, Dennis Barnett, Cathy Russell and John Barnett.

He was preceded in death by his sister,  Janet Sue Barnett, parents, Morris and Margaret Barnett, brothers, Donald, Robert, Jack, Dwayne Fellner, James Fellner, several aunts and uncles and grandparents, Willie Schroder and Clarence Schroder.
