Patricia A. "Patty" Smith

Patty Smith, 62, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family.

Patty was born September 6, 1957 in Rock Island, the daughter of John and Adeline (Fletcher) Smith. 

She had worked at Friendship Manor, Rock Island and the Stoney Creek Inn, Moline. Patty loved cats, watching the birds outside and being outdoors.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Nipper and John Nipper, sister, Fran Mendoza and several nieces and nephews including Jeremy Ervin and Christina Ervin. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Alma Smith and brother, John Smith, Jr.
