Pierre “Richard Johnson” DuBois, 77, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his residence. Private family services were held.

Pierre was born May 8, 1943, in Murphysboro, IL.

Pierre was well known in the community and always had an inviting friendly smile. He was a very generous man and gifted intellectual. He was quick to talk politics and sports (especially basketball) and was a voracious reader of paperback books. Pierre worked most of his life as a 5-star chef in the Twin Cities.

He is survived by many children, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extend family. He will be truly missed by his family and countless friends, especially the tellers at 1st Midwest Bank and Kale Heating and Air Conditioning.
