Shirley Ann Buchanan

Shirley Ann Buchanan, 92, passed away peacefully on October 23rd 2020, at her residence in Centennial Colorado surrounded by her family.

Private services were held in Colorado in accordance with her wishes.  Shirley was laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery of East Moline.

Shirley was born March 7th, 1928 in Moline, the daughter of Louis and Serra (Larson) Wilcox.  She married Eldon Buchanan on April 28th, 1951.  He preceded her in death on July 14th, 1998.

Shirley was retired from the Prescription Shop. She was a former member of the St. Mary’s Church choir and Alter and Rosary Society. Shirley enjoyed reading, listening to music, spending time in the mountains and watching sports.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Buchanan Pierce, Lisa Buchanan, Martha Buchanan, sisters Alice Wilcox of Davenport, IA and Carolyn (Marguerite) Kokity Bettendorf, IA, and her loving companions Francis and Jack.
